Incubator 

"Incubator"

Series of Art Works/ Live, Performance/ Photography/ Sculptural/ Video/ Augmented Reality

 

Incubator, myself, black clothing, white back drop, three point lighting, red light, coloured balloons, black balloons, baby blanket, blue gloves, video camera, camera, string, artivive, black bin bags, audience, baby food spoon, fragile tape, baby doll, wooden chair, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, text, cardboard, paper, sound, projector.

"Incubator". They are a series of art works which involve the incubator. Experimenting and Developing as may ways as I can with the incubator.

 

 

 

 

 

The first being a Live Art Work. Performed infant of a small audience all wearing black funeral wear. The work is myself trying to climb and fit into the babies incubator. but unfortunately I can't save myself.

The second work is a photography series. Which includes the use of coloured balloons. Showing a celebration of life but also death all in one.

The series is a number of photographs which show the incubator starting full of gallons and but the end all the balloons have escaped the incubator and it is empty, the balloons lie on the floor.

Augmented Reality Work. Another live Art Work within the series. This time involving the incubator and black balloons. The video consist of myself blowing up a single black balloon every minute capturing the breathe a a young child who dies at that time. Video includes sound.

The final works in the series is a number of experiments and developments involving the incubator in a series of scenarios. Using multiple materials, lighting and camera angles. Using the incubator to its fullest.
